An event was organized on the occasion of December 3rd, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, to draw attention to the problems of individuals with special needs and to create social awareness in order to understand them better.
As part of the December 3rd International Day of Persons with Disabilities, an event was organized under the coordination of our Disabled Student Unit Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Elif TOP and Faculty of Sports Sciences Disabled Student Unit Representative Dr. Lecturer Soner SİVRİ, with the participation of Faculty students, to raise social awareness in order to draw attention to the problems of individuals with special needs and to understand them better.
At the end of the event, where Wheelchair Tennis and Wheelchair Basketball were played, the message was given that everyone should be aware that they are a potential candidate for disability and that they should show sensitivity to facilitate the lives of individuals with special needs in all areas.
